11月15日下午，上护中学在操场召开了安全法制教育大会，会议由陈少之校长主持。陆河县教育局李永森股长、司法局张录生律师和上护镇派出所范学新副所长（上护中学法制副校长）参加了会议。在会上，李永森股长就学生的前途理想教育作了重要讲话，张录生律师围绕“青少年违法犯罪常见的几种形态及所应负的法律责任”这一主体作了专题发言。最后，陈少之校长要求全体同学要结合这次会议精神，认真开展批评和自我批评，做一个遵纪守法的中学生。

Speaking is a skill. No one can do it simply by memorizing the rules. In other words, one can only improve his speaking ability by speaking more. Here come some tentative procedures, which are proved to be constructive and conductive in oral classes.
4.1 Pronunciation and intonation
The elementary of oral English is the correction and clearance of pronunciation. For Chinese learners of English who living in Chinese-speaking environment, we must grasp the pronunciation of a foreign language accurately. Correct pronunciation of English words decides whether the students can express the word’s meaning accurately or not. Many examples show that the incorrect word pronunciation will lead to misunderstandings. The incorrect pronunciation of words and the unnatural intonation will be impossible to deliver verbal exchanges. This is an indisputable fact.

Any tasks for practicing speaking should reflect the special characteristics of spoken language.
